Ella Langley’s Empowering Message To Women: “Tough Girls Don’t Have To Say They’re Tough”

Ella Langley grew up southern Baptist in Alabama and was homeschooled for a lot of her childhood, up until sixth grade. She said she didn’t really get taught much, she just played outside a lot.

I mean a kid needs to be a kid for as long as possible and the shit kids are being taught in public schools can be classified as straight up bullshit now. Let your kids play outside more often. It’s good for the kid hearts.

Ella shared an empowering message to women in a recent interview. She said, “tough girls don’t have to say they’re tough.”

She hopes to uplift and relate to women in her music, too. She also said, “and I don’t want to write songs that are just about me, I want it to mean something for people a couple different ways.”
