The 2026 American Music Awards were held last night (5/25/26) in Vegas. And no I didn’t watch due to the fact that I was drinking beer and remembering the men and women who gave their all for Memorial Day to even be a holiday. That’s just me though.
Anyway…here were the winners in the country music categories:
Morgan Wallen: “Best Male Country Artist”
Ella Langley: “Best Female Country Artist” + “Best Country Song (Choosin’ Texas)”
Megan Moroney: “Best Country Album (Cloud 9)”
Zac Brown Band: “Best Country Duo/Group
Sam Barber: “Breakthrough Country (New) Artist”
Riley Green did show up as well to perform some solid country music for a lot of people who have more than likely never heard of country music.
