Some sports fans are obviously not very intelligent and they don’t the same sense that God gave a jackass.
In case you missed it. The Knicks did in fact beat the San Antonio Spurs Saturday night (6/13/26) in game five to win their first NBA Championship title since 1973. It happened in San Antonio, but that didn’t dampen the mood in New York City at all. Fans flooded the streets and, well…they literally started destroying stuff.
Fires were set and vehicles were destroyed…including five school buses that were hired to transport World Cup fans from MetLife stadium.
At least 10 cops were injured, dozens of people were arrested, there were huge fights, a teenager was shot, and there were four slashings or stabbings.
