Ranch Prices Have Increased By 112% All Thanks To “Yellowstone”

The price of ranches in America has increased by 112% over the last 10 years.

An economist for Realtor.com thinks it’s because of Taylor Sheridan’s shows like “Yellowstone”. That show has also had a great impact on western retail too and I’ve seen a lot of people that come into a western store to get hat shaped like Rip’s…or Kayce’s.

He said the shows “introduced ranch culture to a much broader audience, drawing in viewers who fell for the sweeping landscapes and rugged lifestyle long before they ever considered owning a piece of it themselves.”

For comparison, the median price of traditional homes only increased by 66% in the last 10 years. So, there is that.
