There was a pretty cool full-circle moment on “The Voice” recently.
A contestant named Evan James performed Morgan Wallen’s song “Wasted on You” and got chair turns from Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, and Adam Levine. And Evan eventually picked Team Adam.
Adam was then asked what it’s like hearing someone audition with a song by an artist he once coached. If you didn’t already know, Morgan competed on Season 6 in 2014. He originally joined Team Usher before Adam stole him during the Battle Rounds.
Adam said, “Morgan obviously worked it out. So, I’m proud of him.”
