No one wants to accidentally stab themselves, and especially in church.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. once accidentally stabbed himself in the thigh with a pocket knife his dad gave him while in church. He was a teenager in the ’80s at the time by the way.

Dale said, “it’s not bleeding for some reason…but I butterfly band-aid my leg, never told a soul. I got a scar on my leg still from it.”

His wife jokes that he, “Ricky Bobby’d himself”. In case you forgot,  in “Talladega Nights”, Ricky Bobby stabs himself in the leg with a kitchen knife because he thinks he’s paralyzed. And it’s one of the best movies ever made. Period.

The 2026 ACM Awards announced more performers this past Tuesday.

Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert will join previously announced performers Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Riley Green at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards.

The ACM Awards will stream live on Prime Video May 17, 2026 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Nominees will be announced Thursday (4/9/26). And for tickets, they are available here.

I thought the purpose of having an electric car was to save money on gas.

After seeing this video…I clearly thought wrong in saving money on gas is the purpose of buying an electric car. I also understand that it’s good to use all of the resources the world has to offer you to better your life.

This electric car own is taking the using the world’s resources to your benefit to a completely different level.

This is the real American pastime y’all.

This 4 wheeling video might also be a real representation of my personal life. Mainly because I’m not afraid to “go for it” in life. The only problem is, life likes to show you how “going for it” will sometimes knock you on your ass.

In this particular case though, this man landed on his belly. And there were injuries to the 4 wheeler from what we can tell.

Some parody song lyrics fit so perfectly well…I can see this happening.

Ella Langley has seen and heard the “Choosin’ Texas” parody lyrics and she admitted a real fear of hers with Theo Von in his “This Past Weekend” podcast. She’s afraid that she’s going to accidentally sing “jack off by myself” on stage.

She said, “I fear that a lot. I really do. Cause I have the thing about me where it’s like I have one specific thing I should not say and then I’m accidentally going to probably say it. I don’t know why.”

I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet to be honest. Once you hear it…you can’t unhear the parody lyrics.

Post Malone closed out the March Madness music festival on Sunday and gave fans an impassioned speech of encouragement. Of course, it was filled with plenty of expletives. Which speaks to my heart.

With a speech like that…hopefully Mr. Malone will run for President of the United States. Posty also teased a 40-track album is on the way called “The Eternal Buzz”.

Riley Green is doing his part by teasing some new music on his Instagram.

He says new music is fact coming soon and he’s proving that by doing what good artists do now. Which is tease his fan by posting a little piece of that new music. Riley posted a video with him and his guitar teasing a new song called “Imagine That”. 

It’s about winning a girl back. And that girl could be Megan Moroney? Just kidding. It’s not. Of course please feel free to spread that rumor.

Cody Johnson released a surprise cover of Merle Haggard’s “Footlights“ in recognition of his birthday this past Monday. 

Merle was born April 6, 1937. And he unfortunately passed away on his birthday in 2016. So, Cody decided to pay a little tribute to the Hag.

Even though “Footlights” was never actually released as a single, it has remained one of the most celebrated deep cuts in Merle’s musical catalog. The song first appeared on his 1979 album, “Serving 190 Proof”, and was re-released and then covered by George Jones on their 2006 collaborative album, “Kickin’ Out the Footlights…Again”.

Cody said, “Merle Haggard’s music has been the soundtrack of my life. I couldn’t think of a better way to honor him on his birthday than by sharing our version of ‘Footlights’…Hope we did it justice.”

Randy Travis has been on the road since last year for the More Life Tour and audiences are showing up too.

It’s Randy’s original band with James Dupré singing his hits on the road. At a recent stop, he received a standing ovation while being pushed onstage in a wheelchair.

Randy said, “it’s the fans who make these appearances and shows so special, and the reason I keep doing it. I’ll be in Kentucky, Indiana, and Missouri next.”
