They loved each other more than anything. Even between the alcohol and the number one songs they loved each other more than life itself. They were made for each other. Showtime will tell their story in the “George and Tammy” miniseries premiering December 4th.
Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain star in this country music love story. They definitely paint picture of George and Tammy pretty damn good from what I can tell from the previews. December 4th can’t get here soon enough and as HARDY said in “Unapologetically Country As Hell”, “ever since George Jones died, country ain’t been the same.” He ain’t lying.

George and Tammy are and will forever be the King & Queen of Country Music! They by far are the most talented duo ever in Music! They were Romeo & Juliet, Romeo & Cleopatra! If not for George’s (alcoholism) and Tammy’s (substance-painkillers addiction), I am certain they would have stayed together till death. If only they could both have gotten professional help, hard back then though. It was so sad and unfair for them, a tragic part of fame. I still respect and love them ver much!!
