Growing Up In Texas, Starched Jeans Were The Only Way to Wear Jeans And Like Parker McCollum Said: “I Don’t Like My Jeans Soft”

Starched jeans are a way of life in Texas. I mean if King George Strait starches his jeans…you better starch yours.

I didn’t realize that starched jeans were mainly a Texas thing until I moved out of Texas. When your jeans are starched, they look better and it looks like your jeans have some class.

Parker McCollum grew up in Conroe, Texas and got his education at the Woodlands College Park High School. So, he knows what’s up when it comes to starched jeans.

He posted a video on his socials talking about how his jeans weren’t starched enough and how he’s hoping “the show was still gonna be alright”. Which is concerning. Especially if you grew in up Texas, where “double extra heavy starch jeans all the time” are how you’re supposed to wear your jeans in public.
