Robert Earl Keen Announced the ‘Applause for the Cause’, Benefit Concert To Support Texas Hill Country Flood Relief Efforts

More good news and help is coming out of Texas.

Robert Earl Keen just announced his ‘Applause for the Cause’, a one-night-only benefit concert hosted by Mr. Keen himself to support Texas Hill Country flood relief efforts.

It’s lineup is stacked up beautifully like a perfect Texas country music festival in the making. Lineup includes Tyler Childers, Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, Jack Ingram, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Ryan Bingham, Randy Rogers, Cody Jinks, Hayes Carll, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, and Aaron Watson to name a few. Because there’s more.

The show is set for August 28 at Whitewater Amphitheater and tickets will go on-sale this Friday (7/18/25) at high noon. Every single penny from the proceeds will go be going directly to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. Doors will open at 3 pm, kicking off with Lloyd Maines and his Austin City Limits Band with special guest vocalists. Robert Earl Keen and Tyler Childers are doing a very special closing set as well.

Buc-ee’s have already pledged a million dollar donation to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to help make the Applause for the Cause a reality. A big thank you to Whitewater Amphitheater for hosting the event. As well as Veeps, Miller Pro AVL, C.C. Creations and illustrator Dorothy Nottingham.
