Tickets for Kenny Chesney’s ”Here and Now” tour originally went on sale in 2019. Then we all know the hell of the two years we went through with concerts and the music industry getting shut down completely. Live music brings people of all beliefs together. Always ldoes.
Kenny Chesney stadium shows definitely does that and they do it well. You forget your problems at the gate and when the music starts its a party from start to finish. Of course Kenny brought some of his best friends along to throw a stadium party in Denver.
Carly Pearce opened the “Here and Now” tour stop with about a half hour set and she did it flawlessly. Carly has shown she’s a country music queen in the making.
Old Diminion hit the stage at 6pm and the stadium was filled pretty nicely to hear country music’s super band of today. They had everyone singing along to every song on their set list.
Dan + Shay kept the party in Denver moving and the sing alongs going. Seeing on that stage in a stadium was a little surreal. I still remember Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney singing their first single, ”19 You + Me” in my office in hopes I’d play their song. I did.
It also wouldn’t be a real sing along in Denver Colorado without ”Tequila” and it was beautiful and loud!
Then the man himself, Kenny Chesney, brought the show and the party to the finish line with a top class performance as he always does. His energy is everything and he always pours his heart on that stage.
No matter who are at a Kenny Chesney show…you always feel “Young.”
If you ever get the chance to go to a Kenny Chesney stadium show…go. It’s worth your time in being a small part of ”No Shoes Nation” for at least one day of your life. ~ Brian Taylor
